Description

Specification Solicitation body (clauses/provisions) SF 1449 The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) manufactures US currency bank notes. The BEP has two locations, one in Washington, DC referred to as the Eastern Currency Facility (ECF) and one in Fort Worth, Texas referred to as the Western Currency Facility (WCF). This requirement is for "currency straps/bundle bands" at the BEP's Western Currency Facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code for this activity is 322121. This is a FAR part 12 acquisition. The BEP anticipates awarding an Fixed Price (FP) Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract. There will be a base period of 12 months and four Options Periods of 12 months each. This solicitation closes on August 1, 2011 at 2 PM EST. Attached to this notice are: 1. SF 1449 2.
