Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation will be issued. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract in accordance to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), authorized or required by statue. This is one time procurement. The VISN 10 Contracting Activity intends to award a sole source purchase with a GCX Corporation to purchase: OH-0010-80 7' wall Channel 12 ea, WS-0004-23D variable height arm 6ea, FLP-0004-89D keyboard bracket 6 ea, FLP-0008- 12 handle with grips 6 ea, WM-0023-47F keyboard tray 6 ea, WM-0007-41 B cpu mount 6 ea. The procurement will be for the VAMC Cincinnati, Ohio. The estimated amounted is $8,642.00. The Government believes that GCX Corporation is the only company that can satisfy the agency requirements. Therefore, the Government intends to proceed with sole source procurement for the required equipment. To the best of our knowledge, GCX Corporation is the only source that provides the above indicated items and features. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339999 and the size standard is 500 employees. This is not a request for proposals; however, an interested party may e-mail a written capability statement with sufficient experience for these required services, which shall not exceed two (2) pages in length. Interested parties may submit their capability statements, and qualifications for the provision of this service, which may or may not be considered by the agency via email to Gloria.kemp@va.gov no later than 5:00 PM EDT on June 22, 2011. No phone calls will be accepted. If no responses are received, the Cincinnati VA Medical Center will proceed with sole source procurement with GCX Corporation.
