Description

Title: T.S. State of Maine - Procurement and Delivery Sea Valve and Slip On Flanges Background and Intent: The T.S. State of Maine is a U.S. Government owned (Maritime Administration) training ship provided to the Maine Maritime Academy for the purpose of training young men and women for a career in the U.S. Maritime Industry. It is the intent of this SOW for the vendor to procure and deliver one (1), eighteen inch (18 inch), 150 psi, bronze body, monel trim, flanged gate valve. In addition, it is the intent of this SOW for the vendor to procure and deliver two (2) 90-10, copper nickel, slip on bolted flange. DESCRIPTION: ITEM 0001 - Procure and Deliver One (1) Bronze Sea Valve. The vendor shall procure and deliver to the TS State of Maine, one (1) bronze body sea valve of the following characteristics: Size: ANSI 18 inch, 150 psi. Type/Style: Flanged Gate, Outside Yoke and Rising Stem. Body: Bronze. Trim: Monel (stem, disc and eat). Material Specifications: ASME SB61 or SB62. Design Specifications: MSS-SP-80. Approvals: American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Type Approval ITEM 0002 - Procure and Deliver Two (2) Copper Nickel Slip On Flanges. T he vendor shall procure and deliver to the TS State of Maine, two copper nickel, slip on, bolted flanges of the following characteristics: Size: ANSI 18 inch, 150 psi. Type/Style: Slip on bolted flange. Material Specifications: 90-10 copper nickel. Approvals: American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Type Approval Notes: The vendor shall provide a drawing to include dimensions (flange to flange, bolt hole circle diameter, bolt hole size, number of bolt holes and overall height with the valve fully open) and weights of all materials proposed along with their quote. In addition, the vendor shall provide copies of the valve manufacturer's ABS Certificate of Type Approval.
