- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and issue a two-year period of performance extension to the existing Airborne Mine Countermeasures effort N0019-08-G-0010-4053. The contract type is anticipated as Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) and will be issued on an other than full and open competitive basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) 6900 Main Street, P.O. Box 9731, Stratford, CT 06615-9129. The anticipated work for SAC includes: 1) completion of Block 2A MH-60S AMCM System Development and Demonstration (SD&D) for AN/AQS-20A and ALMDS sensor systems and 2) continued support of Block 2B MH-60S AMCM SD&D effort Airborne Mine Neutralization System (AMNS), AN/AWS-2 Rapid Airborne Mine Clearance System (RAMICS), AN/ALQ-220 Organic Airborne and Surface Influence Sweep (OASIS) Sensor/Weapons Systems, Armament Control Indicator (ACI) Panel Integration and AMCM Link-16. SAC shall maintain associated one (1) aircraft for OASIS/AMNS/Link-16 and maintain associated Removable Mission Equipment (RME) to support testing. SAC shall conduct OASIS Airworthiness flight qualification and conduct pre and post flight inspections on OASIS drag-brake. SAC shall also conduct OASIS Integration and Link-16 Testing. SAC will also perform non-recurring tasks for engineering changes that will modify the MH-60S Air Vehicle and OAMCM RME kits. This effort includes all tasks associated with preparation and submittal of Class I ECPs and all NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) effort to design, develop, integrate, test and qualify changes to the Air Vehicle and RME kits as safe for flight. These changes will be forced retrofit into Air Vehicle and RME kits, as applicable. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency's requirements. SAC is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, expertise, and proprietary technical data required to successfully perform these tasks. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
