Estimated Weight 4.6 lbs. PREDOMINANT MATERIAL OF MANUFACTURE: Metal and Electrical Components FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Digital Video Recorder rated to 30,000 feet unpressurized. Total Qty: 44 each; Spare Hard Drives Integral to DVR operation, P/N: COMRAD-SS-128, ten (10) each. DESTINATION: EY9513 (Fort Walton Beach, FL), DELIVERY SCHEDULE: Total Quantity 6 Months ARO Intended Source: Deep Development Corporation (DDC), (CAGE L4690); DDC, Inc is the only source known that can satisfy the needs of the agency. Authority: U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Government or Commercial Surplus is NOT acceptable. Only newly manufactured materials will be considered. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTE WHICH SHALL BE CONSIDERED BY THE AGENCY. Solicitation will be uploaded to FBO. Request for written quote in response to written solicitation. Anticipated RFQ RELEASE DATE: 5 Jul 2011. Anticipated RESPONSE DATE: 4 Aug 2011. Anticipated/Estimated Award Date: 21 Sep 2011.
