- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Picatinny located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is conducting a market survey to locate capable firms to provide the following Pressure Transducers: Sixty (60) Pressure Transducers with (4) additional procurement options of one hundred twenty (120) per option. The Pressure Transducers must be High G designed in order to meet the M982 Excalibur requirements. High G stands for high gravity. The product should be specifically designed for blast and ballistic applications. Its extremely robust oil filled design/construction, utilizing an Inconel metal diaphragm face with ablative coating, is capable of withstanding the harsh environment typically associated with these applications. This miniature 3/8-24 UNF 3A thread Piezorestive Pressure Transducer is vibration/acceleration insensitive, thus enabling a stable, high accuracy signal during test. It should utilize the Silicon on Insulator (SOI) and High Pressure sensor technologies which enable it perform both the high accuracy dynamic and static measurements without requiring any charge, or other type, amplifiers. These leading-edge technologies drive its performance, while making it easy and inexpensive to use. Firms shall provide technical data with their submission. Brochures or manuals may be submitted.
