- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), Orlando, Florida intends to extend the ordering period and increase the estimated ceiling on contract N68936-05-D-0042 with SoBran Incorporated pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The increase is necessary to allow time for completion of ongoing source selection activity for follow-on production support services. The contract type is Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with Time-and-Materials (T&M) provisions for production support services that augment the Government workforce in support of the Depot Level Maintenance (DL M) mission at the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE). The contract was originally solicited competitively as a total small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 561210 with a size standard of $35.5M. The applicable FSC/PSC is J015. The current ordering period will expire on 31 July 2011. This extension will be for a period of 11 months until the follow-on contract is awarded. This sole source action is to ensure these critical support services to DoD aircraft maintenance are uninterrupted prior to a new contract award. Any firm believing it can provide the services for the period stated above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 15 days after the date of this notice. The response must clearly show the firm ™s ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the services provided and without causing any interruption of critical services. The firm ™s response should also illustrate how it can overcome start-up costs necessary to assume the effort in the short period of performance this synopsis represents. Any firm interested in the follow-on requirement should send inquiries to: michelle.burrell@navy.mil (Preferred Method), or by mail to: Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, 12350 Research Parkway, and Attention: Ms. Michelle Burrell (Code 25332), Orlando, FL 32826.
