Description

LAST CHANCE FIRE BAER TREATMENTS - CULVERT STABILIZATION: The work under this contract consists of placing large riprap and shotcrete to provide bank stabilization around culvert inlet and outlets. Specifically two 9-foot diameter culverts provide drainage conveyance under NFSR 256 for Sitting Bull Canyon. Fifteen CY of large riprap shall be placed around the culvert inlets per the specifications. The culvert outlets are currently protected by concrete. This concrete has become undermined due to erosion. An additional 10 CY of shotcrete shall be placed around the culvert outlets. Shotcrete shall be reinforced and installed per the specifications. In preparation for the shotcrete, the area shall be cleared and grubbed and the debris disposed of and 20 yards of aggregate placed and compacted. It will also be necessary to construct temporary coffer dams and pump stream water past the project area.
