Description

PRESOLCITATION NOTICE This is a commercial item acquisition for the purchase of bulk liquid oxygen for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This requirement involves two facilities. They are the Bedford VA Medical Center located at 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730 and the VA Connecticut Medical Center located at 950 Campbell Avenue 06516.The contractor shall provide for the distribution and supply of medical grade liquid oxygen. The contractor shall also provide contractor owned storage tanks and back-up storage. The applicable NAICS code is 325120 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. The government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsive offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offers: technical, past performance and price. The solicitation package will be issued on or about June 23rd 2011. Mandatory site visits will be held during the weeks of June 27th and July 4th. The date for receipt of quotes is scheduled for July 15th 2001 at 1:00pm. The government anticipates award of a fim-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation The solicitation may be downloaded from FedBizOpps. Copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to the award of the contract. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov. Any interested party may submit a quote which will be considered by this organization. Service Disabled Veterans and Veteran Owned businesses are encouraged to submit offers.
