Description

"Special Notice" The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source contract to Becton Dickinson for CPT Instrumentation to perform testing on samples from the Women's Clinic for acute vaginosis, Candida Trichomonas and Garderella with a fully automated DNA probe, and for an estimated 900 tests annually. This vendor is the only source capable of providing the brand name or equal Affirm VPIII Micro Probe System to include the analyzer, heat block, and temperature testing device required goods/service. The NAICS Code is 621512. The period of performance will be from June 24, 2011or date of award through June 23, 2012 for a one year base period, with four one-year options at the discretion of the Government.
