- Nationwide ID/IQ for Architect/Engineering Professional ServicesPre-Solicitation Notice (Request for Qualifications)Total Small Business Set-Aside PRE-SOLICITATION AMENDMENT 001 The purpose of Amendment 001 is to: 1.) Add language to reflect the Government's reservation of the right to award multiple contracts for this acquisition. 2.) Restructure the regions as listed in Evaluation Criteria #5: Location, and reflect the Government's priority for firms possessing offices/hubs in one or more of the amended zones. 3.) Extend the submission due date by 10 calendar days. Description of Amendment: Pre-Solicitation Notice # L11PS00272 is hereby amended as follows: 1.) All language in reference to the Government's intent to award a single contract is hereby amended to reflect the Government's reservation of the right to award multiple contracts for this acquisition. This includes, but is not limited to, the amendment of Paragraph 16, Sentence 3 from: "Full and open competition after exclusion of sources will be utilized to award one Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract." to: "Full and open competition after exclusion of sources will be utilized to award one or more Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract(s)." 2.) The language of Evaluation Criteria 5 is hereby amended from: "Demonstrated ability to respond quickly, efficiently, and cost effectively to project needs in various geographic areas within the United States. Firms shall indicate how they intend to utilize/manage local expertise to accomplish site specific services, for small projects as well as large-scale projects. The work under this contract may take place in any state that has public lands. However, the work will be primarily in, but not limited to, the following western regions: Northwest States (Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana); Southwest States (Arizona, California, Nevada); Mountain/Plains States (Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming)." to: "Demonstrated ability to respond quickly, efficiently, and cost effectively to project needs in various geographic areas within the United States. While the BLM manages lands in eastern states, the amount of land is dispersed and significantly less. Priority will be given to firms that possess offices and/or hubs in at least one of these regions." 3.) The due date for submissions is hereby extended by 10 calendar days from Monday, June 20, 2011, to Thursday, June 30, 2011. The complete amended Pre-Solicitation is attached. The amended due date/time for submissions is 2:00pm, Denver local time, on Thursday, June 30, 2011.
