- The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisitions for the following items: (2) EA Cissell Fireman s Gear Drying Cabinet, Part #AGC44, (2) EA Optional Glove/Boot Dryer for the Cissell Fireman s Gear Drying Cabinet, and (1) EA Milnor 30022 T5X Gear Guardian Washer Extractor, Part #30022T5X as required by the Naval District Washington, Dahlgren Fire & Emergency Services, Dahlgren, VA. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 333312. The size standard is 500. The anticipated start date is 29 July 2011. This requirement is sole source to L.N. Curtis & Sons. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award.
