Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Jordan-Reses Healthcare Inc, Folcroft west Business Park, Folcroft, PA 19032 for a Apnealink Plus Kits (22328) to be used for the IMPACT clinic as part of its preoperative risk assessment prior to surgery. Apnealink is already in use in this clinic and it is not cost effective to change to other brands. Due to the emergent nature of this item, a delivery schedule will need to be coordinated and delivered (FOB Destination) NLT June 17, 2011. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals due to Unusual and Compelling Urgency per FAR 6.302-2. Vendors who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this equipment as described above must notify this Contracting Officer at Ronald.Kline@va.gov or by telephone, 412-822-3755 NLT June 10, 2010 at Noon EST. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
