- Indoor Range Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. The proposed procurement is Request for Proposal (RFP) construction bid build contract. Note: This notice replaces W912DR-11-R-0015 This proposed procurement is Unrestricted, NAICS 236220 size standard of $33.5 Million. The estimated cost of services is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The solicitation will be posted on or about 16 Jun 2011. The period of performance for this project is 540 calendar days. Construct a 23,000 SF 50M Indoor Firing Range. The project will include a 14 lane firing range, Energy Management Control System (EMCS) connections, building information systems, mechanical rooms, electrical room, lobby, office/administrative/classroom area, toilet rooms, and storage room. Supporting facilities include HVAC, electric service, natural gas, water, sanitary sewer, access road, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, exterior lighting, site preparation and improvements, fire protection and alarm systems, information systems, and special features such as acoustical design, range ventilation and associated controls, range controls, LEED, life safety and Commissioning. All required antiterrorism protection measures shall be included. Contractor employees must be either a US citizen, green card holder, or in possession of a workers permit. These requirements with no exceptions must be met to be granted access to work at Ft. Meade. Additional information in accordance with the statement of work is included in the request for proposal package. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
