Description

The Boise (Idaho) U.S. Veterans Administration Healthcare System is seeking Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing services for patients at the Boise (Idaho) VA Medical Center. The WOCN services contractor shall perform consultation regarding all aspects of Ostomy care including pre-procedural counseling, marking appropriate sites for stomas, initial Ostomy fittings, and ongoing management of patient Ostomy problems. Consultation may also include Ostomy management to include but not be limited to draining wounds, sinuses and fistulas. It is anticipated that a minimum of three (3) visits for Ostomy management of new enterstomal patient (pre-operative, soon post operative for appliance placement and follow up). Additional visits will be on an as needed basis. The anticipated start date of this contract is July 1, 2011. The contract will be for an initial period of one year, ending June 30, 2012. Multiple extension options are provided through fiscal year 2016. This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price, non-personal services healthcare contract. Only one award will be made. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621999, size standard of $10.0 million. Interested parties are encouraged to register on the solicitation mailing list.
