- Description
- Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) Contracting Office (AEDC/PKE), Arnold AFB, TN anticipates the release of a solicitation for a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base year and four option years. This contract is to provide a streamlined means to complete a broad range of paving and like projects. Competition is full and open--all responsible sources are permitted to compete. Work shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, administration and material necessary to provide paving and related appurtenance at Arnold AFB TN. Major items of work include: Demolition of existing pavement and structures, remove and repair concrete bumpers, excavate, backfill and compact to construct new pavements and storm sewage systems, seal pavement joint and random cracks, asphalt and concrete pavement. Work shall be in accordance with basic contract with general specifications and individual delivery orders with individual project specifications, instructions, and performance period. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237310 (Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction). The Business Size Standard is $33.5M in average annual receipts. The estimated magnitude of the entire contract to include all option years is not to exceed $4,000,000. A complete solicitation package is scheduled to be released and made available only through the FedBizOpps website at https://fbo.gov/ during the month of June/July 2011 with an anticipated closing date for proposals on or about 31 July 2011. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of RFP Amendments, Clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of the contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registered requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.bpn.gov//ccr/ or by calling the CCR Registration Center at 1-866-606-8220. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
