Description
This is a copy of the solicitation. The Denver Megacenter has a generator room which houses two, large, 12 cylinder, diesel, generators. One of the Generators belongs to the MegaCenter and the other belongs to BOEMRE (Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement). Currently, if there was a loss of power, the Megacenter generator would supply all power to the MegaCenter and the BOEMRE generator would supply all the power to BOEMRE. However, one generator supplies enough power to simultaneously run both the MegaCenter and BOEMRE. The Purpose of this project is to install a switch and all required wiring so all of the following scenarios are possible if there was a loss of power. •Ø The MegaCenter generator would supply power to the MegaCenter and the BOEMRE generator would supply power to BOEMRE. •Ø The MegaCenter generator would supply all power to both the MegaCenter and BOEMRE. •Ø The BOEMRE generator would supply all power to both the MegaCenter and BOEMRE. This Project is for the switch and required wiring only. Although the Standard 90-day parts and labor warranty shall apply, this contract is for the switch and required wiring only and will not lead or continue into a purchase warranty period. The vender shall use standard electrical component parts and all electrical contractors shall be able to work on the system when the work covered under this contract has been completed.
