Description
INDUSTRY DAY EXCHANGE NOTICE June 29, 2011, Jackson Center, 600 Genome Way, Huntsville, Alabama, 35806. Pre-Registration Required. At the direction of the Under Secretary of Defense, Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics [USD (AT&L)], the Program Executive Officer for Aviation (PEO AV) established the Non-Standard Rotary Wing Aircraft Project Management Office (NSRWA PMO) chartered with responsibility for execution of all procurement, sustainment, and technical support of non-standard rotary wing aircraft within the Department the Defense (DoD) and in support of partner nations. The NSRWA PMO will host an unclassified Industry Day Exchange on 29 June 2011 at the Jackson Center, 600 Genome Way, Huntsville, Alabama, 35806. This exchange will provide industry the opportunity to gain insight into the planned acquisition of worldwide lifecycle sustainment support for a variety of non-standard aircraft systems not supported within the DoD standard logistics systems. Initial aircraft to be supported are anticipated to be the Mi-17, Mi-35, and MD-530F aircraft systems. Additional non-standard rotary wing aircraft systems are to be determined but may include the UH-1, Bell 212 (UH-1N, Huey II, Bell 214, Bell 205, Bell 206, Bell AB 206, Bell 206 AL, Bell 206B, Bell 204/205, AB 204/205, Bell 406 CS, Bell 412, TH-67 Creek, Jet Ranger, AH-1F, AH-6i, H-3/S-61, and MD-500E. This planned acquisition will consider and make provision for all elements of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) as well as technical and engineering services support to commence on or about May 2012 with full implementation by September 2012. Lifecycle sustainment support services include but not limited to the following requirements. Sustainment Engineering Supply Support Maintenance Planning and Management Support Equipment Technical Data Training and Training Support Manpower and Personnel Facilities and Infrastructure Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation Computer Resources Support The Industry Day Exchange event will begin at 8 a.m. on 29 June with sign-in for registered participants. An overview briefing of the planned worldwide lifecycle sustainment support acquisition is scheduled from 9 - 10 a.m. to be followed by a Question and Answer (Q&A) out brief from 10:30 - 12:00 a.m. providing the appropriate Government response to previously submitted Industry questions. The Industry Day Exchange event is open only to pre-registered industry partners. To register for the NSRWA Industry Day Exchange event, send your registration request via Email not later than 24 June 2011 to Ms. Amanda Hughes, Email: amanda.r.hughes.ctr@us.army.mil.
