Description
Sources are sought for market research purposes that can provide the 10 Day training course described herein at Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan. Please respond to the listed POC by e-mail at your earliest convenience, no later than 10 Jun 2011, 1200 hrs (Noon) Pacific Standard Time. "SMARTS/Ionix Optimization and Knowledge Transfer" is a required training class for the specific network administrators, configuration management technicians, and virtual core server managers assigned to the Kadena Network Control Center (NCC). It is a ten day training course which must be specific in instructing NCC personnel on how to best configure and optimize the mandated use of SMARTS in Charge (SIC) and Ionix software. This software needs to be tailored to the Kadena Base Area Network (KBAN) in order to properly develop tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) that will facilitate proactive network device management and device status situational awareness. It must be conducted as a separate and distinct course due to the proprietary nature of the SMARTS/Ionix application(s). This course and training material is not available through AETC or other AF formal training venues. The attendees are those who are assigned to the 18 CS/SCOO NCC Configuration Management work-center. This work-center is responsible for KBAN virtual core server management and coordination. Knowledge gained during this course will be directly applied to the KBAN to best support the mission.
