Classification Code: 69 - Training Aids and Devices Contact Points: Pete O ™Halloran peter.ohalloran@usmc.mil, Janet Fondriest janet.fondriest@usmc.mil Response Date: 10 June 2011 The USMC Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS), is hosting an Industry Day for the Marine Corps Instrumentation Training System (MC-ITS) to coincide with the Training & Simulation Industry Symposium (TSIS) scheduled for the week of 13-17 June 2011. Tuesday the 14th of June will be the actual date for the MC-ITS Industry Day. Location: Partnership II Conference Room 208 (limited seating to two participants/company) The administrative agenda will be: 0900-0905 Introductions/welcome “ Mr. Luis Garcia APM Instrumentation 0905-0915 Opening remarks “ Col David Smith PM TRASYS 0915-0935 Requirements “ Mr. Pete O ™Halloran DAPM Instrumentation 0935-0950 Acquisition Strategy “ Mr. John Lynch PM TRASYS Contracting Officer 0950-1000 Closing remarks/Q&A “ Mr. Luis Garcia APM Instrumentation Immediately following the administrative portion the one-on-one interviews will begin. These interviews will be 30 minutes maximum to include confidential Q & As. The following thoughts are presented as a general purpose for the 1:1 interviews: Help us to conduct additional market research Help us to gain insight on areas we may not have thought about Help us determine your company ™s abilities and if you possess the necessary capabilities and resources to support the requirements. Registration: Industry partners must register in advance of the event for the Industry Day and must submit a list of attendees by the Response Date 10 June 2011. Attendees must be US Citizens. There is a limit of 2 attendees per company. One-On-One Interview Appointment Requests: Companies may request a scheduled one-on-one interview appointment by the Response Date 10 June 2011. Appointments will be given on a first come basis and companies will be notified of their appointment times on 13 June 2011. Registration and appointment requests and any questions shall be submitted in writing to Pete O ™Halloran at peter.ohalloran@usmc.mil. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Attendees are encouraged to submit written questions in advance. The Government reserves the right to entertain or not entertain questions during the event or to answer any questions posed prior to the Industry Day. There is no guarantee that material produced at this Industry Day will be made available during or after the event. The Industry Day will be Unclassified. This Industry Day is for informational purposes only and is not a formal solicitation for proposals or proposal abstracts. Accordingly, this event is NOT a śbidder ™s conference ť and this announcement is not a contract, Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, Request for Quotation, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind. Attendance at the Industry Day is voluntary and is not required to propose to any subsequent announcements of any kind. MARCORSYSCOM will not provide reimbursement for any costs incurred to participate in the Industry Day. The Government will not pay for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement, nor will the Government return any data provided. No solicitations are currently available; any release will be announced on www.neco.navy.mil and www.fbo.gov.
