- This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract for 4920-01-522-0742RN, Part Number PWA72764 or 1039-003T, F100 Engine Augmenter Spray Ring Test Stand. The test stand is used to confirm performance of the spray rings after they are pyrolytically cleaned and before they are reassembled into the engine. The test stand consists of a single section combining both the spray chamber and test stand monocoque on a common base frame. A removable counter top is mounted on the front of the Test Stand monocoque below the operator's panel. An electrical enclosure is integrated within the monocoque at the right hand side of the operator's panel. The spray chamber is of a basin design with a horizontal hinged cover. The test stand is 120"L X 66"W X 78"H. The basic requirement is 0001 (3 each). The requirement also includes two (2) Option Periods. Option I valid for 365 days after award of basic, 1-2 each; Option II valid 730 days after award of basic, 1-2 each. DELIVERY: Due 11 months ARO contract award, delivery to multiple locations. Delivery of options is 11 months after exercise of option. Locations to be determined. All assets will be shipped FOB Origin. The approximate RFP issue date will be 13 June 2011. Proposals are due 13 July 2011. This is a sole source or limited sources acquisition to United Technologies Corporation dba Pratt & Whitney (CAGE 77445) and Bauer (CAGE 70882), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. No technical data is available to the Government as Bauer and/or Pratt & Whitney retains proprietary rights to the data package for the engine test stand necessary to build and maintain the equipment. No technical data is available to be provided. RFP will not be posted to FBO. However, if you desire to receive a copy, please notify the POCs below and one will be provided.
