- Description
- This acquisition is for Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services for the MX-15i Electro-Optical (EO) Sensor Systems used on the AC-130H/U Gunships. The following items apply: Items 0001/1001/2001/3001: OCONUS CLS Services; Items 0002/1002/2002/3002: Material in support of OCONUS CLS Services; Items 0003/1003/2003/3003: Travel and Per Diem; Items 0004/1004/2004/3004: Logistical Support Services; Item 0005/1005/2005/3005: Data in accordance with (IAW) DD Forms 1423-1, Contract Data Requirements List. This requirement is for a basic contract period of ninety (90) days with three (3) annual options of twelve (12) months. No technical data is available. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Request For Proposal (RFP) FA8509-11-R-31761 will follow. See WEB page at http://www.fedbizops.gov/. The estimated RFP release date is 13 Jun 2011. The estimated RFP response date is 13 July 2011. The estimated award date is 30 Sep 2011. This requirement is sole source to Cygnus Aerospace Inc, Cage 3K7T9 in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Or A Limited Number of Responsible Sources, And No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government that this requirement will not be competed based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Foreign participation is not permitted. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
