Description

Veteran's Administration Medical Center 7305 North Military Trail West Palm Beach, FL 33410 Angio Suite Equipment-Philips Medical Systems NA 05/24/2011 NOTICE OF INTENT: The VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Philips Medical Systems North America, 22100 Bothell Everett Highway, Bothell, WA 98021-8431, to procure additional components to existing Philips equipment being used in the Angio Suite. Philips has been found to be the only source available to provide this service to the West Palm Beach Medical Center. No other vendor was able to provide components that are compatible with the existing Philips medical equipment currently in use in the Angio Suite. This is a notice of intent for Sole Source procurement under Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The associated NAICS Code is 334510. This is a Notice of Intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than noon, June 8, 2011 and all responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
