Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, Rhode Island intends to purchase the following CPUs, node types are: DPW10 (qty. 6), AP10 (qty. 35), DS10 (qty. 5), AP/TS10 (qty. 3), MSS10 (qty. 2), DDSC RS (qty. 2) and DDSC JBOT (qty. 2) to continuously monitor and improve performance of the Integrated Undersea Surveillance System (IUSS) using data collected by the fleet. Sole make/model components are required per attached specifications. No substitutes allowed. A firm fixed price type purchase order is anticipated. NAICS Code 334111, Size Standard is 1000 employees. This requirement is 100% small business set aside. Further details will be provided in Solicitation #N66604-11-Q-3331, which is anticipated to be released on or about 06/02/11. DO NOT submit quotations until after the solicitation is released and you have reviewed all the requirements of the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) and ORCA (http://orca.bpn.gov/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the websites. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important and technical proposals shall be required. Required delivery is 30 days ARO, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI.
