- The USPFO, Idaho is soliciting sealed bids to construct Operational Readiness Training Complex for the Idaho Army National Guard. Project is located in the vicinity of the Orchard Townsite approximately 16 miles South East of Gowen Field, Boise Air Terminal, Boise Idaho. Project 160093: work includes but is not limited to construction of a two floor 30,549 square foot 200 bed Barracks, a 16,755 square foot Dining Facility, Pump House, Potable water well, Storage reservoir, and associated roads, parking lot, walks, security fencing, landscaping, sewer service, electrical service, data service and natural gas service. Magnitude of construction for project is more than $10M. This project is being set-aside 100% for small business. The applicable codes are: FSC Code - Y199, SIC Code - 1542, NIACS Code - 236210 and the corresponding size standard is $31M average annual receipts over the last three fiscal years. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about 8 June 2011. A Pre-bid conference and site visit will be scheduled after release of the solicitation. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and should register in accordance with the specifications to be provided in the solicitation, prior to attending for clearance to the facility. All information, amendments and questions concerning this solicitation will be electronically posted at the following web page: http://www.fbo.gov. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, it is the bidder's responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments to this solicitation. Web sites are occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance activities. The government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for any bidder's inability to access the documents posted on the referenced web pages. For security reasons, all potential offerors, plan rooms, and printing companies are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov and the Federal Business Opportunities webpage, http://www.fbo.gov in order to view or download plans and specifications for the project.
