- Requirement is for a quantity of one (1) each Missile-Munitions Loading Adapter, NSN 1730-01-259-4653, part number 8644425-30 subject to First Article/First Article Test Plan/Report approval plus four (4) Options each with a quantity range of one(1) to sixty three (63). Loading Adapter is a manually operated device that attaches to the top plate of the MJ-1 Bomb Lift Truck or the MHU-194 Manually Operated Lift Truck (MOLT) used for handling and lifting conventional missiles and loading onto tactical aircraft. Dimensions are Width: 23 inches, Height: 18.5 inches minimum, Length: 39 inches minimum. Total Weight: 161 lbs. Delivery for basic requirement is 8 months ARO contract, shipping to FE4800, FOB origin, with Option quantities due 8 months after exercise. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 6 June 2011. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/). NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. The government owns the complete data package required to manufacture item. The technical data required to respond to RFP may be obtained at the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/) after posting. This proposed contract action is a 100% set aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and other sources of data as will be stated in the RFP. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. All questions regarding the RFP and/or the data packages must be submitted in writing to jimmy.hicks@robins.af.mil with copy to tara.odom@robins.af.mil NO QUESTIONS MAY BE SUBMITTED BY TELEPHONE. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal.
