Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Cengage Learning Inc 10650 Toebben Dr Independence, KY 41051 to acquire customizesd revisions to the West Federal Taxation and Corporation, Partnership, Estate, and Gift Taxation by Hoffman, Raabe, Smith, Maloney and copies of the affected chapters. This vendor is the publisher of the text and owns the copyrights to the material. The proposed contract action is for a deliverable for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for quote. However, written response to this synopsis may be submitted to be received by this office within 5 days of this announcement. Documentation must establish your rights to edit and copy the publication. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
