Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, VISN 22 Network Contracting Activity, Located in Long Beach, CA intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ). This effort will be awarded as a Firm Fixed-Price requirement for a term of one Base plus four one year option renewals. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for SDVOSB concern. The NAICS Code is 325120, size standards in number of employees is 1000. This requirement is to establish a contract for Re-fill of Government-owned cylinders and Rentals of Contractor-owned cylinders with Compressed Medical Gases for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System in accordance with contract specifications. Proposals will be considered only from contractors who are regularly established in the business called for and who are financially responsible and have the necessary equipment and personnel to furnish services required. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about May 25th 2011, NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON.
