QUESTIONS/ANSWERS: Here are all the questions (current) that need to be technically reviewed and responded too for subject project. These questions will technically reviewed and the answer will then be posted on this site. 1. Are there going to be any steel tie-ins? Government Response: 2. What is the material of the existing piping? Government Response: 3. Are there As-Builts (PDF) for Utilities for subject project? Government Response: 4. The track field. Will the gas line be routed around it, or will it be bored, or will they be getting rid of it? Government Response: 5. Will the regulators be getting replaced ? Government Response: 6. Will the gas line be routed around parking lots and other obstacles? Government Response: 7. SOW states to replace two regular stations as shown on figure 1 which are labeled 9224 and 10508. Is regulator station at south end of project between buildings 9110 and 9210 and regulator station just east of B9269 to be reused or abandoned in place? Government Response: 8. Main 6" line between regulator 9224 and 10508. Since existing gas lines are to be abandoned in place, can the new 6" line be located closer west towards the road to avoid the new running track? Government Response: 9. Roads. Is boring required under all roads? Government Response: 10. Parking lot between buildings 9110 and 9210. 6" line appears that it will need to go through the parking lot running south to north, can this be trenched, backfilled and asphalt repaired? Government Response: 11. Buildings 9110 and 9210. Are there any branch lines that will be needed to service buildings 9110 or 9210? Government Response: 12. Are we going to be replacing the regulators and meters at each building? If so can we get the specs for each location? Government Response: Regulators and meters are not part of this contract 13. Will there be any pluming of gas lines in the building? Government Response: Plumbing of gas lines in the buildings are not parts of this contract 14. Page 1, paragraph 1.2: Which footages do we use, the takeoff of the map provided or those given in the SOW. Government Response: Pending 15. Page 1, paragraph 1.2: Please explain "other" pipe sizes? Government Response: Pending 21. Are Building tie ins required during Off hours? Government Response: Pending 22. What is the window for outages to make building connections to the new lines? Government Response: Pending 23. What are the soil conditions for the project site? Is there any rock cutting required? Government Response: Pending 24. Is it required to be replaced? Government Response: Pending 28. SOW section 1.2: Please explain the type of repairs that will be required as listed. Government Response: Pending 29. Based on the conversation during the pre-bid meeting it is our understanding that we are to install new lines routing them in the best fashion to supply gas to the required buildings.
