- Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on a sole source basis to BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services, Inc., 1601 Research Boulevard, Rockville, MD 20850. The proposed contract action will provide In-Service Engineering (ISE) Support Services until a follow-on competitive procurement, which is currently in the evaluation process (solicitation N00024-10-R-3336) is awarded under SeaPort-e. The performance period is three months with an additional three two-month options to be exercised in the event the competitive procurement is delayed. These services are currently being performed by BAE Systems under SeaPort-E task order N00178-04-D-4018-FY03/06. The proposed contract will bridge a gap between the end of the current task order, and the award of the follow-on task order and provide continuity of services for these mission critical requirements. The Contractor shall provide support services for the ISE Department ™s functional areas, which encompass Integrated Technical Data, Information Assurance, Advanced Training Systems and Processes, Distance Support, Fleet Support, Material Obsolescence Management, Aircraft Carrier Tactical Support Center (CVTSC), Advanced Skills Management (ASM) System; Submarine Systems, Underwater Targets, Torpedo Program functions, obsolescence management and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Integration and Supportability for U.S. Fleet and Foreign Military customers. This synopsis is being posted to the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil and will also be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Responses to this notice may be sent via email to cindy.harley@navy.mil by 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time on 18 May 2011. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Questions shall be submitted in writing to cindy.harley@navy.mil.
