Description
The Virginia Contracting Activity is seeking small business sources to provide courier support services for the administration and delivery of passports and visa requirements. The services require a Customer Service Representative and a Program Manager located on-site to manage the program and operations in the Travel and Transportation Office. The driver courier needed for these services must possess a current driving record with a point free valid driver's license and a secret level clearance. Government vehicle(s) will be provided to the courier, requiring the driver to submit daily run sheet documents and maintain a driver's log of sites visited. The travel locations for the courier services can be, but are not limited to the Department of State and a variety of Embassies/Consulates. The courier is responsible for safe transport, pick- up and delivery on behalf of the agency transportation office. Pick-up and delivery also include travel to and from locations between various designated government sites. The onsite customer service representative position requires a TS/SCI clearance and provides guidance on passport/visa requirements and maintaining updates. Additionally the customer service representative supports a team of passport agents with general administrative duties, updating database information and other related duties. The onsite Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the courier/customer service representative team and requires a TS/SCI clearance. In the capacity of a PM, this individual serves ass the direct liaison and works with the Contracting Officer Representative. This notice is not an RFP, no cost estimates are requested. General pricing methodologies however would be accepted. The Government will not pay for the cost of any information submitted for this notice. Interested small businesses must submit information no later than 20 May 2011. Submissions must be submitted in 12 font, Times New Roman and may not exceed ten pages.
