- This is a notice of intent of the Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC); Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234-5068 to award a sole-source contract for professional and administrative office space and meal packages to support the Army Trauma Training Center (ATTC) during their rotation training period each month. This is a sole source procurement. CHCC intends to award to the Public Health Trust of Miami, Dade County, DBA Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida, under authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) of the Services Acquisition Reform Act of 2003 (41 U.S.C. 428a). The Jackson Memorial Hospital is the only source that can meet the Army's requirement because ATTC personnel are required to be within close proximity of the trauma center in the event they need to be recalled during their shifts. Award will be made on or about 31 Aug 2011. The performance period will be 1 October 2011 through 30 September 2012 with four one-year option periods through 30 September 2016.
