- Description
- The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gain knowledge of the availability of conference space for the NLRB New Employee Training Conference the week of August 21-25, 2011, checking out August 26, 2011. The intent of this announcement is to acquire information from interested parties to assist the NLRB in developing an understanding of the capability, capacity, and availability in selected cities. From this information, the NLRB plans to develop an acquisition strategy and procure the required conference services. Conference services will be procured though a full and open competition that will result in the selection of a "best value" acquisition for the NLRB. NOTE: For this RFI, the NLRB will not consider or accept information submitted by a respondent that is not a Hotel or Conference Center. This conference does not require Event Planning Services or 3 rd Party Event Planning or Consultant Services. Specifically, the information provided should highlight your organization's offerings by identifying and distinguishing your conference service capbility and availability for the week of August 22, 2011 for approximately 150-175 participants. In accordance with FAR 10.001(a)(3), the NLRB intends to use the information received to better understand the offerings of the conference service in selected cities for a time specific. Upon completion of this knowledge gathering, the NLRB anticipates issuing a combined solicitation on FBO.gov for the dates listed above, which will contain the following materials: •Ø A Request For Quote (RFQ) containing a Statement of Work (SOW), Instructions to Offerors regarding the submission of both Technical and Price Proposals, Evaluation Criteria, information about required service capability demonstrations, and applicable general terms and conditions; •Ø Preferred cities: Washington, DC, Philadelphia, PA, Pittsburg, PA, Cleveland, OH, St Louis, MO; and •Ø Specific conference service requirements. Once the Solicitation has been issued, all Offerors will have the opportunity to submit a written Technical Proposal and a written Price Proposal. As part of the Technical proposal, the NLRB will require the Offerors to clearly demonstrate their ability to meet the NLRB's requirements in key areas. A response to this RFI is required by May 19, 2011. Responses shall be emailed to: Delfina St Clair, Contracting Officer delfina.st.clair@nlrb.gov Upon a review of the Technical and Price proposals, the NLRB will select the "best value" offer as the final Offeror selection. Selection of the conference service provider will be conducted in accordance with FAR. Please note, this RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. It is not a Solicitation Announcement for proposals, and no contract shall be awarded from this Announcement. No reimbursement will be made for costs associated with providing information in response to this Announcement or to any follow-up information requests. Hard copies of this notice are not available.
