Description
This combined sources sought/market survey synopsis is for information and planning purposes only ; it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. A contract may not be awarded as a result of this combined sources sought/market survey. The Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration (FTA), on behalf of Federal Transit Administration, Office of Civil Rights, intends to procure support services for Professional Data Entry and Administrative Information Processing Services using competitive procedures under the SBA Small Business Program. The capability package for this sources sought/market survey is not expected to be a proposal, but rather specific, detailed information regarding the company's existing experience in relation to the areas specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Only firms with a Hubzone socio-economic status are to submit capability packages. It is anticipated the NAICS code in the 561320 series with a size standard of $13.5M will be designated for this procurement; however, interested parties are encouraged to submit a more suitable NAIC Code along with their capability packages. Capability packages must not exceed 15 pages and must be submitted electronically. Questions about this requirement are to be submitted by 17 May 2011 by 3:00 PM EST. The contractor shall perform an assortment of data entry and administrative information processing support services relating to FTA's Office of Civil Rights Programs. The accumulation of data will be reconciled in FTA's Transportation Electronic and Award Management (TEAM) system and other data entry systems. Data entry keyers may use scanners, electronically transmitted files, or other forms of character recognition systems to perform the tasks associated with this scope. Administrative duties will be required on an as-needed basis. At a minimum, the contractor shall perform the following tasks: The contractor shall reformat existing data, edit current information, or proofread new entries for accuracy. The contractor shall make notifications of any errors associated the collection of the data. The contractor shall sort & file physical reports relating to various programs. The contractor shall enter the lines of data from the various reports into an excel spreadsheet (data migration table) and error check the lines of data from form as being put into a spreadsheet. The contractor shall assist with filing archives for Archival Records Management including formatting and indexing functions. Provide administrative and clerical duties such as faxing, copying, drafting letters, filing as needed. The anticipated period of performance shall be a six months base period, with (1) option period not to exceed six months. This requirement is for one (1) full-time equivalent (FTE) for 8 hour day; 40 hour week. There will be no overtime under this contract. In addition, this requirement is for (1) part-time Project Coordinator for an allotted 30 hours for the base and option period.
