- NOTICE OF SOURCES SOUGHT Brief description: Pre-Amplifier Response Date: 16 May 2011 @ 1600 Hrs Mountain Standard Time (MST) Contract Specialist: Bernadette Quevedo, 575-678-2981, bernadette.quevedo@us.army.mil Address: Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Bldg 143, Crozier St. White Sands Missile Range, NM 88002 NAICS Code: 334515 Place of Performance: White Sands Missile Range, NM This is only a sources sought announcement and is not an intent to procure. A solicitation is not available at this time and any requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This sources sought is in support of a market survey being conducted by the Survivability, Vulnerability and Assessment (SVAD) at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM for a pre-amplifier. The pre-amplifier is a must when attempting to provide accurate measurements of transmitted field intensities while testing to MIL-STD464A/C and MIL-STD461E/F radiated susceptibility requirements for all current and future force systems. SVAD is seeking potential sources technically capable to fulfill the requirements listed below: TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: a)Minimum gain 45 dB b)Gain variation no more than 3 dB c)Noise figure better than 3 dB d)Cable connections 2.9 mm standard e)Impedance 50 ohms f)VSWR 2:1 max g)Power source capable of sustaining 8 hours continuous use h)Unit must be small and light-weight to be mounted on an antenna stand i.Maximum length: 12 inches ii.Maximum width: 5 inches iii.Maximum depth: 3 inches iv.Maximum weight: 2 pounds The North American Industry code for this acquisition is 334515. The information and capabilities submitted by the vendors will be used to prepare a prospective offerors list and aid in acquisition strategy. Include any suggestions on what your firm would consider standard commercial practices. All potential offerers must indicate their business size status in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334515. Sources should identify and address if they are a large, small, 8(a), woman owned, Hub zone, or otherwise classified as a small disadvantaged business in their responses. Responses will be reviewed to identify firms capable of fulfilling the Government's requirements. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. All responses to this notice expressing interest in being considered for this proposed contract should include the following: Company Name, Point of Contact, Address, Telephone and Fax numbers, E-mail address, Business Size, DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax ID number. Notice to Potential Offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the DOD must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR), Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) as well as, the Wide Area Work Flow System (WAWF).
