Description

Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to complete Domiciliary Renovation Building 10B, Project 557-10-102, at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Dublin, GA, in accordance with drawings and specifications. Work includes but is not limited to general interior new construction, alterations, major interior demolition, mechanical and electrical work, plumbing work, and utility systems. New finishes include, but not limited to: carpet, vinyl tile flooring, solid surface countertops, casework, wood doors and hardware, paint, acoustical ceiling, and cement fiber board. Exterior construction includes: aluminum window replacement and necessary removal of existing windows and construction and certain other items. Work shall be completed within 240 calendar days. Cost range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. NAICS Code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and small business size standard $33.5 million apply to this notice. The solicitation package and drawings should be available for download on or about 5/18/2011. No hard copies of the solicitation or drawings will be provided. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by DVA. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds. This is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Site visit is scheduled for May 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Interested parties should meet at Building 29, Engineering Conference Room, Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, 1826 Veterans Blvd., Dublin, GA 31021.
