Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO and by email to the synopsis point of contact. NUWDIV Newport, RI intends to place a fixed priced contract set-aside 100% for small businesses for the following: Upgrade of existing prototype OA-9070E Control Cabinet Enclosure (CC(E)) in the Land-Based Test Facility (LBTF) at NUWCDIVNPT. The Contractor shall remove components, repaint the cabinet, fabricate new hardware (chassis, slides/rails, brackets, etc), repopulate the prototype cabinet with the new hardware and previously removed components, and conduct testing in accordance with the statement of work and technical drawings. The clearance level is SECRET. The period of performance will be from date of award through 4 months later. This acquisition will be processed using FAR Parts 12 and 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small businesses. NAICS Code 332999, size standard 500 employees. Evaluation factors for award will include: technical approach, past performance and price. Please note that the data package associated with this procurement will only be available by requesting a compact disc from the negotiator. Only offerors that have an active registration in the Joint Certification Program will be provided the compact disc.
