Description
This announcement constitutes a Notice of Proposed Contract Action by the U.S. Air Force Electronic Systems Center's Enterprise Acquisition Division, Hanscom AFB, MA to award a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for the EXata software and maintenance licenses produced by Scalable Network Technologies Incorporated, Los Angeles, CA under the authority of FAR Subpart 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is for the purchase of EXata software, which has been found as the only type to satisfy the government requirement to have all the following attributes to support modeling and simulation analysis: cyber war modules for attack and defense, a native traffic generator, and interoperability with the Satellite Toolkit software being utilized for modeling, engineering, and operations. Additionally, EXata allows for ultra high-fidelity network evaluation that can predict wireless, wired, and mixed platform network and networking device performance. There is no solicitation document available for this acquisition. Interested sources shall make written inquires about this procurement to Ms. Lindsay Walsh, Contract Specialist, at Lindsay.Walsh@hanscom.af.mil no later than 12 May 2011.
