- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Benning, Georgia is currently seeking sources for a commercial service requirement for Facility Operations, Maintenance Repair and Minor Construction Services to support the USAG Miami/Southern command Installation located at 9301 NW 33rd Street, Doral, FL 33172. This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the MICC Fort Benning to the ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and requests for solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by MICC, Fort Benning to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with Facility Operations, Maintenance, Repair and Minor Construction on USAG Miami/Southern Command Installation. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, facilities, tools, materials, equipment, containers, vehicles and services to provide facility operations, maintenance, repair, and minor construction services to support the USAG Miami/Southern Command installation located at 9301 NW 33rd Street, Doral, FL 33172. The installation currently consists of campus approximately 645,000 square feet of buildings that were constructed in the 2009-2011 timeframe with initial occupancy in November 2010. This campus houses Southern Command headquarters which conducts 24/7 command and control operations for Department of Defense activities throughout Central and South America. The campus also includes, but is not limited to, a conference center, garrison headquarters, child care facility, medical facility, gymnasium, and AAFES retail outlet. Many areas of the facilities are sensitive and require security clearance and/or escort for access. Facility Operations, Maintenance, Repair, and Minor Construction for Army facilities are based on Army Regulation 420-1. Contractors responding to this sources Sought Notice shall provide to MICC Fort Benning written capability statements which include at a minimum: Company Name, Point of Contact and Number, Staffing Capacity and Government contract experience for similar services. In addition to the capability statement, respondents shall provide answers to the following questions: Can your firm provide Facility Operations, Maintenance, Repair and Minor Construction serives to the Installation as required as either a licensed price contractor and/or a Subcontractor? The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this service is 561210 which sets the small business at $35,500,000.00 annual revenues or less(At or below $12,500,000.00 is considered small, above $12,500,000.00 is considered large). Based on this standard what is your business size, small or large? Is your firm eligible for participation in one of the following small business programs? If so, please indicate the program. Large Business, 8(a) program, Women-Owned Small Business Concern, Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern, or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concern, or Service-disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concern use of a price evaluation adjustment for a small disadvantage business concern. Can your firm provide firm-fixed unit prices for future contract periods? Please indicate the maximum number of years you can provide firm-fixed unit prices. 5 years, 4 years, 3 years, 2 years and 1 year only. How many calendar days does your firm need to prepare a proposal? 15 days, 30 days, or 45 days. If awarded a contract, how many calendar days following the award would it take to begin providing services? You will need to have access to the internet to download solicitation materials.
