- Pre-Industry Day Teleconference: The Government will host a pre-Industry Day teleconference on 10 May 2011 at 11:00AM (Eastern). Clarification to Change published Apr 13, 2011 at 10:56 am on FBO to the RFI regarding Section III, Non-GFE Medical Equipment and Supplies : The Government has mandatory sources of supply for some of its medical equipment and supplies (e.g., DLA Prime Vendor Program, etc.). In the event that the required item is available through the Government s mandatory source(s) of supply, the Government will coordinate the procurement and delivery to the Service Provider as Government Furnished Equipment or Government Furnished Material (GFE or GFM). In the event that the item is not available from the Government s mandatory source(s) of supply, the Service Provider will be responsible for furnishing the required item via its own supply chain. The Government seeks to leverage the Service Provider s supply chain relationships in order to maximize buying power, minimize inventory levels, and improve operational readiness.
