Description
ITEM 0001: NSN 4920-01-579-3762RN, Part Number 915-18603, Vibration Analyzer, Balancer, to troubleshoot and analyze vibrations of C-130 propellers leading to the determination of the correct amount of balance weight and placement location(s) essential for flight safety and equipment longevity. Approximately 12.2 inches long, 7.1 inches wide, 3 inches high, and 6.2 pounds. Basic year requirement is for 1-45 each. Also included are four (4) Option Periods. Option I, 1-15 each, valid for 365 days after award of basic; Option II, 1-15 each, valid 730 days after award of basic; Option III, 1-15 each, valid 1095 days after award of basic; Option IV, 1-15 each, valid 1460 days after award of basic. DELIVERY : Due 180 days ARO; delivery to multiple locations. Delivery of options is 180 days after exercise of option(s). Location(s) to be determined. The approximate RFP issue date will be 18 May 2011; proposals are due 20 Jun 2011. This is a sole source acquisition to Honeywell International Inc (99866), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. No technical data is available to the Government as Honeywell retains proprietary rights to the data package for the test set, specialized cables, software, and four C-130 specific interface kits necessary to build and maintain the equipment. RFP will not be posted to FBO. However, if you still desire to receive a copy notify the POCs below and one will be provided. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated award date is 31 Aug 2011.
