Description
The National Park Service, Northeast Region, Steamtown National Historic Site, located at 150 South Washington Avenue, Scranton, PA 18503-2018, requires a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment and all other items necessary to repair and rehabilitate a model railroad exhibit reflecting the Delaware-Lackawanna and Western Railroad Yard circa 1935 located in the park's technology museum. Contractors will submit proposals for the repair and renovation of the exhibit along with a fixed price quote encompassing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work as instructed in the solicitation and scope of work included therein. The solicitation is to be issued as a 100% small business (SB) set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 712110, which has a size standard of $7.0 million per year. The previous information is only used for classification purposes in the representation and certification portion of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Anticipated issue date is May 18, 2011 and anticipated date for receipt of offers is June 20, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. Local Time. All prospective small business offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizOpps website frequently to obtain any amendment(s) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. Contractor submitting a bid must complete the necessary on-line representations and certifications (ORCA) application in the database. To complete ORCA go to http://orca.bpn/gov/. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be considered for an award. A prospective awardee shall not only be registered in but also certified in CCR prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. When the solicitation is issued, it will be available electronically via a link from the Federal Business Opportunities Website (www.fbo.gov). The link will connect to the Department of Interior's National Business Center website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov), and on this website contractors will need to click on the 'clauses and attachments' link in order to access the solicitation (the link is in a blue box on the left side of the webpage).
