Description
This is the Statement of Work for the leasing of these vehciles. Please read carefully and ensure that you fully understand the requirements set forth in this document. This is the word version of the synopsis, this will make the fill in version of the clauses easier to view and fill out. GENERAL INFORMATION The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza, Bldg 804, Maxwell AFB, AL has a requirement to lease items as described in the Schedule of Supplies/Services. This is a streamlined combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice. A written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a request for quote (Reference-Number F2XJA21096A001). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-51 (2 May 2011) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20110427. It is the contractor's responsibility to become familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. A Firm Fixed Priced Award will be made in accordance with the following the Schedule of Supplies: NAICS Code: 532112; size standard: $25M. IMPORTANT NOTE: THE GOVERNMENT IS SOLICITING FOR "OPEN MARKET" QUOTES ONLY. GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (GSA) QUOTES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. NATURE OF ACQUISITON: Holm Center has a requirement to lease the below listed vehicles. The Schedule of Supplies/Services provides all items and quantities required. This procurement will be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a full and open market competition. This is an all or nothing award, no split awards will be made. SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: This acquisition is for the leasing of the following items: CLIN 0001: Van, Capacity of 11 - 15 passenger, no less than 3 years old, with included maintenance, this vehicle will be needed from date of award until 12 August 2011 Quantity: 9 Each CLIN 0002: Van, Capacity of 11 - 15 passenger, no less than 3 years old, with included maintenance, this vehicle will be needed from date of award until 12 August 2011 Quantity: 5 Each CLIN 0003: Truck, Pickup. four wheel drive, Four Doors, Gas engine, can be V6 or V8 engine, must be no less than 3 years old, with included maintenance, this vehicle will be needed from date of award until 12 August 2011 Quantity: 5 Each CLIN 0004: Truck, Pickup. four wheel drive, Four Doors, Gas engine, can be V6 or V8 engine, must be no less than 3 years old, with included maintenance, this vehicle will be needed from date of award until 12 August 2011 Quantity: 2 Each CLIN 0005: Delivery Fee for delivery to Maxwell AFB, AL; Air Force Reserve Officer Training Course POC: Scott Gilley, Phone: (334) 953-6958 **Please note that the Government is responsible for furnishing fuel. All other vehicle fluids and maintenance are the contractor's responsibility. Contractor shall perform all maintenance on the vehicles. Contractor must be in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws/regulations. The Government is leasing operable equipment. It is the contractor's responsibility for all emergency repairs and services. QUOTATION PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS To ensure timely and equitable evaluation of quotes, offerors must comply with the following instructions. Quotes must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this RFQ. a. The offeror must accede to all solicitation requirements, including technical, and the terms and conditions by submitting the following statement with your response to this solicitation: "I accede to all of the requirements of this synopsis/solicitation, including specifications (CLINs 0001 - 0005), and terms and conditions." b. Offerors must provide a unit price and extended price for all items referenced in the "SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES". d.
