- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD (FAR 5.101 & 5.207 (14))-The Bureau of Indian Affairs intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed price purchase to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Company for textbooks, NAICS 511130 and proposed Purchase Order number A11PX90293. The total value of this intended award is less than the simplified acquisition threshold. Price quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. This procurement will be made pursuant to simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition authorized by FAR 1.703, FAR 6.302-1, and FAR 12.207. This notice is neither a request for proposals, nor a solicitation for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
