Description
The United States Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC) Picatinny, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, is seeking sources that are capable of providing commercially available computational electromagnetics (EM) analysis software for analyzing the coupling of transient high frequency EM waves onto a circuit board for predicting interaction with surface mounted components and overall circuit performance. The problem has been split up into the following 4 levels of complication:2D air slice3D air slice3D air3D air and components The Government requests that interested sources provide information on whether and to what degree their products address each of the four problems above. If current software does not address all 4 levels of the problem space, the vendor is asked to discuss any plans for future capabilities leading to solving the remaining problems within the next 1 to 3 years. In addition, we are interested in the vendor providing the tools' abilities for integration with circuit analysis tools like P-Spice for coupled circuit schematic analysis. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interests by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, and other technical data as well as identification of current customers. All data should be sent at no cost to the US Government by May 30, 2011 to the US Army ARDEC. ATTN: Philip Johnson, ACC-PICA-JA, Bldg 10 Picatinny, NJ 07806-5000, email philip.j.johnson2@us.army.mil. In addition, please provide the firms name and address, point of contact with telephone number and email address, and size of business (small/large). TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will accept written questions by email only. This is a market survey for information only and shall not be construed as a request for a proposal or as an obligation on the part of the US Government. The US Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey. In addition, the government is not responsible for any costs incurred and will not pay for any information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted. Information submitted will not be returned.
