- Department of Veterans Affairs Desires to Lease Space The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) desires to lease approximately 9,993 usable square feet of space for use by the Health Resource Center in the Topeka to Lawrence, Kansas area. The space must be contiguous and preferably on an upper floor level of a building (above the first floor) and can be provided by modification of existing space. On-site parking for approximately 100 spaces is required. This space must meet the American with Disability Act (ADA) and other governing standards for persons with disabilities. A lease term of up to 10 years will be considered with a five (5) year firm and a renewal option of up to an additional five (5) years. Location: To be considered, space must be within the following delineated area: Starting Hwy 70 and Urish Rd, Topeka, KS South on Urish Rd East to SW 37th St South to Wanamaker Rd East to SW 53rd St. South to Burlingame Rd East to SW 57th St South on Highway 75 East to SE 93rd St. continuing East to SE 89th St North to E-100 Rd East to Stull Rd/Co Rd 442 continuing East to W 6th St South on SR-10/S Lawrence Trafficway, Lawrence, KS North to SR10/Highway 59 East to W 31st St South to Haskell Ave. East to 35th St North to E-1750 Rd/Noria Rd. North on a line from Noria Rd to Hwy 70 West on Highway 70 to Urish Rd, Topeka, KS A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by VA.
