Description

In support of the White House Initiative on Small Business Contracting, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is hosting two small business events to provide small business advanced acquisition planning information to industry. These DHS small business events will include presentations from DHS senior leadership and panels from a variety of DHS components and DHS large business prime contractors. The panels will provide information on local, regional, and national opportunities for the specific component/contracting activity. There will also be an opportunity to visit component tables and DHS prime contractor representatives for one-on-one interaction. Registration: The first event is in Miami, Florida on May 10, 2011; event details and registration: See hyper-link attachment below. The second event is in Las Vegas Nevada on May 19, 2011; event details and registration: See hyper-link attachment below. There is no cost for businesses to attend; however, for planning purposes, pre-registration is required through the applicable websites. We look forward to seeing you in Florida and Nevada.
