Description

Intent to Sole Source: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11 Network Contracting Activity, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201, intends to sole source to Silver Star Contracting, LLC., 1801 Howard St., Detroit, MI 48216-1920. Silver Star Contracting, LLC, will provide LED Light Installation Services. Silver Star Contracting, LLC is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Pursuant Public Law 101-461 and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation 819.7007, the Department of Veteran Affairs, at the Government ™s Discretion, is permitted to set-aside and negotiate sole source procurements to responsive and responsible SDVOSB firms. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. and http://www.va.gov/vetbiz/library/PL109-461.htm. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than (May 14, 2011 “ 8 AM EST), to the contracting officer indicated above. No E-Mails request will be accepted.
