- The Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA) is releasing DRAFT RFP documents in accordance with FAR 15.201. VACA intends to release a solicitation for a competitive Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with Task Orders containing multiple Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and other types of Task Orders as appropriate for various professional services with TS/SCI cleared personnel. This notice constitutes DRAFT documents associated with solicitation identified as HHM402-11-R-0014. This announcement is to assist prospective offerors in the development of proposals for future submission pending release of the final RFP. VACA is encouraging industry input/comments/questions from all interested firms. A final RFP is scheduled to be released in June 2011. The North American Industry Classification Code is 541990. It is the responsibility of the prospective contractors to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. DRAFT RFP Documents will be available for viewing, pick up, or e-mail beginning 28 April 2011. Interested firms wishing to obtain a copy of the DRAFT documents may do so in one of the following manners: •1) 1.) Provide to VACA via e-mail, a JWICs e-mail address of the recipient •2) 2.) Provide to VACA via e-mail the name of POC with appropriate clearance and credentials to physically come and pick up a hard copy and anticipated date and time for pickup 3.) Provide a cage code of the firm via e-mail to be validated by DSS. Upon confirmation, a copy may be sent to the requesting firm's unclassified e-mail address. (Cage Codes will only be accepted through close of business 6 May 2011) A pre-solicitation conference is scheduled for 18 May 2011 in College Park, MD. There will be two iterations of the pre-solicitation conference to optimize industry attendance. Additional information related to the time and location of the event and venue will be provided in a subsequent posting to the FBO website. INPUT/COMMENTS/QUESTIONS: All industry input, comment, and questions must be submitted IN WRITING to Allison.richards@dia.mil or jennifer.sylvestre@dia.mil, no later than 16:00pm EDT, 13 May 2011. Phone calls will not be accepted. Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of any contract. You may register at www.ccr.gov. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to any contractual agreement. The Government will not award a purchase order or contract based upon vendor responses to this announcement. The Government does not assume any costs associated with obtaining the draft solicitation documents or industry responses to the draft solicitation documents.
