- HOBO Brand Pruduct info If an offerors quote package does not contain all of the items listed on page 1 of attachment 1, the quote may be considered incomplete for evaluation purposes and no further consideration will be given to the offerors quote, thereby making an offer ineligible for award (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. (II) THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. BIDS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND NO OTHER WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. (III) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular. NOTICE TO LARGE BUSINESS: The USDA buying activity in Minneapolis, MN is committed to participation of Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business and Women-Owned Small Business in the performance of work under this solicitation and resultant contract. DESCRIPTION (V) 001 - 220EA U12-015 Stainless Steel Data Logger 002 - 220EA U12-015-02 Stainless Steel Data Logger with probe Brand Name Justification IAW 6.302-1 ( c ) 6.302-1 ( c ) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. (a) Authority. (1) Citations: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). USDA/APHIS/(PPQ) uses these loggers routinely to accurately register temps inside kilns during the log drying process. Depending on the size of the kiln, dozens of these loggers may be used per kiln load. The HOBO brand meets minimum specs & is the "standard" currently used PPQ wide and is the product (including software) used to train PPQ personnel. (VI)Delivery Location: USDA/APHIS/PPQ/CPHST/MA 1398 WEST TRUCK ROAD BUZZARDS BAY, MA 02542 All pricing to include any and all costs but not limited to: overhead, general and administrative costs, profit, and transportation (VII) 52.212-1 Instructions to offers Commercial items applies to this acquisition. If an extended warranty is available explain details of extended warranty including price and availability after initial warranty expires. The Offeror shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Acceptance of the standard commercial warranty does not waive the Government's rights under the Inspection clause nor does it limit the Government's right with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the standard commercial warranty. The contractor shall provide a copy of its standard commercial warranty (if applicable) with this response.
